Piston Rings
Types of rings:
- GI: The GI "flaps" shown above actually cover the round pin that is in the piston to align the ring.
- FG: The FG flaps go around the side of the pin.
- L: On the Puch's that use the "L" ring, you will have 1 "L" ring, and one FG ring. So, if you have the piston, and do not have the original rings, look at the piston ring sleeves, and if there are 2 different sleeves, then the "L" ring will be the top ring.
